I’ve just added seven photos to the listing for Kapu Hut in Eugene, Oregon, all from Critiki member A’Pau-ling. Kapu Hut is the first foray into Polynesian Pop by McMenamins, a chain of dozens of uniquely themed pubs throughout the Pacific Northwest. Kapu Hut is a smallish bar located inside of the North Bank restaurant, and theming is light—essentially just a scattering of tiki carvings in a space that otherwise screams BREW PUB. That’s likely because McMenamins’ focus is beer; there are many beer taps at Kapu Hut.

The pictures I’ve seen don’t thrill me, I’ll admit, yet at this writing the Overall rating is an 8 in Critiki, which is not too shabby. There are only ratings from four people so far, though, so more research is needed. Thank you for your contribution, A’Pau-ling!
