I recently returned from a fantastic trip to Disneyland. It was my two-year-old daughter’s first time there, and of course she loved it. When she walked into the Enchanted Tiki Room for the first time, she cheered, “Looks like mommy’s website!” That’s my girl. She asked to go back to the Tiki Room several times, and now that we’re home, she’s asking to listen to the soundtrack on repeat. I also got her a souvenir tiki sipper and bowl… but I’m having a hard time turning them over to her. I should have bought a pair of each! I’ve added nine new pictures taken at the Enchanted Tiki Room to Critiki.

We also brought her to dinner at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar. She was awestruck, and once someone ordered an Uh Oa! bowl, she was hooked (on the room, not the drinks). I’ve added three pictures I took at Trader Sam’s to Critiki.
Did you know you can bring kids to Trader Sam’s? They can’t be there past 8pm, and they can’t sit at the bar, but they can sit at the tables that ring the room, or on the lanai outside (where they often have live Hawaiian music!). I’ve been considering adding a section to the listings on Critiki to discuss whether (and how) kids can come to these tiki places… would that be of interest to you, or would I just be doing that for me? Give a shout if you want that.
