Longitude owner Suzanne Long has announced the restaurant is closing its doors. Longitude is “adventure” themed rather than strictly tiki, but the theming was beautifully executed with the help of Bamboo Ben, and the drink menu is unmistakably tiki. Its loyal patrons have had fun photographing Longitude’s iconic giraffe swizzle all over the globe. I’ll personally miss having such a lovely local oasis, it was always fun to pop over to the East Bay for a Longitude visit.
Suzanne says Longitude’s last day will be this coming Sunday, March 5. Get over there for one last pu-pu platter while you can!

That is sad. I loved Longitude. Glad I was able to make it on my last trip to the Bay Area.

I’ll try to mention it if I see her, I’m hoping to get there one last time this week.
